Empowering Young Women Through Mentorship

The Mentorship Program- Mmaasima

The Bowney mentorship program is designed to connect girls in our program with diverse professionals from Ghana and around the globe. These professionals bring unique and enriching experiences that help our mentees to excel in school, advance in their careers and education, and continuously build strong character. Our mentors act as guides, coaching girls to make informed decisions and take action steps to reach their goals.

Mentorship Formats:

General Mentorship:

This mentorship format provides more flexible, short-term engagements tailored to specific goals or challenges. Mentors offer targeted support within a timeframe ranging from a few days to several months. Additionally, participants will be included in a pool of mentors who can be called upon to lead sessions—whether online, in WhatsApp groups, or in-person—offering even more opportunities for engagement and leadership.

Lifelong Mentorship:

This format allows mentees to develop a long-term relationship with their mentor, receiving continuous guidance and support throughout their academic and professional journeys. Average years of commitment from mentors in the past is 4 years
